Lemon essential oil is cold pressed from the rind of the fruit.  It takes 3,000 pounds of lemons to produce 1 kilo of lemon essential oil. This essential oil is known to promote clarity of thought and has a purifying scent that is known as one the most fragrant of the essential oils.

Lemon contains d-limonene, a powerful antioxidant that has been linked to healthy immune function.  Inhaling lemon can brighten your day and help counter feelings of occasional sadness.  It is also an excellent additive to any recipe that calls for lemon and a great fragrance for cleaning.
